Founders Vision Award recipient Erin Acquaviva brings more than 13 years of experience in education to her roles as iLEAD Exploration’s educational facilitator and Innovation Studios’ guide, and she has deeply influenced the development of iLEAD’s educational vision for countless students in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Over the past six years, Erin has worked in a variety of critical capacities at SCVi, including teaching eighth-grade history and language arts, ninth-grade U.S. history, tenth-grade world history and our eleventh-grade International Baccalaureate Program theory of knowledge course. She was responsible for the successful pilot and implementation of the Innovation Studios program and currently helms our program for home-schooled students through iLEAD Exploration (of which her own children are part!).
Erin credits iLEAD’s vision of creating an environment where learners are “Free to Think, Inspired to Lead” for igniting a fire within her and taking her on a personal journey of self-growth, transformation and leadership development. She enjoys spending time in nature with her family, connecting with students and families, creating and facilitating home projects, and challenging herself by taking on new ventures aligned to her purpose.
Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in history from California State University Northridge and a Master’s in Education from the University of La Verne, as well as a California single-subject teaching credential in social studies.
