Dale was raised in Santa Clarita and takes pride in making meaningful contributions that will benefit the city and its residents. He founded Intertex General Contractors, Inc. in 1984 and has become one of the largest general contractors and developers in the area. Mr. Donohoe graduated with honors from Claremont Men’s College with degrees in Economics and Mathematics.
Dale has developed many retail, office and industrial projects in and around Southern California with a focus on Santa Clarita. These projects have brought jobs to the area and have benefited the local community. To date, total development and construction project values exceed $1,000,000,000. He has been able to build projects, gain approvals and attract tenants that were thought to be impossible. He has built a reputation for being fair, honest and respectable. He has developed relationships with other influential people and put deals together that others had tried but could not complete.
Mr. Donohoe’s leadership skills also benefit his community. He has served as a Former Board Member of the following organizations: The Boys and Girls Club; the Special Children’s Center and the American Heart Association. He is a Board Member on the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and a Board Member of the Santa Clarita Child & Family Center. Through personal and corporate donations he continues to support many Santa Clarita non-profit organizations. Many of Dale’s properties have been used for event gathering in support of fundraising efforts by multiple local non-profits.
Dale’s specific contributions in include the creation of hundreds of jobs via development projects that attracted new businesses in Santa Clarita. Dale has focused on getting enough construction projects to keep everyone employed. He takes a serious interest in the Intertex team and tries to avoid layoffs if at all possible. He has been able to expedite several projects through influential relationships that have resulted in businesses opening sooner than they otherwise would have. Dale is a philanthropist and dedicated community member. He is certainly one of the 51 most influential people in Santa Clarita.
